Our PARZICAT® (Desulphurizer Adsorbent)

Zinc Oxide adsorbents for sulfur removal from hydrocarbon process feeds are accepted method in industry for pre-treatment of feed gas to steam reforming units. The efficiency and capacity of the current range of Zinc Oxides desulfurizing catalyst allows sulfur to be removed from the process feed on a continuous basis and to the levels necessary to protect the downstream nickel reforming catalysts. Besides the principal application of Zinc Oxide for sulfur removal in the hydrocarbon steam reforming plants, Zinc Oxide has a wider range of applications in sulfur removal. Zinc Oxide have been developed to a state where they are now in effective use at temperatures as low as ambient and can therefore be directly used in the desulfurization of raw wellhead natural gas and in the cleanup of a whole range of feed streams such as CO2, acetylene, ethylene, propylene, air etc. Applications Purification of feed to steam reforming units: The hydrocarbon feed can be in the form of

The nickel catalysts in the reforming section are highly sensitive to sulfur poisoning and the sulfur content of the feed to the reformer must not exceed 0.1 ppm v. Zinc Oxides alone will adsorb directly to the required level of purity sulfur in the form of

  • COS
And trace amount
  • Methylmercaptan
  • Ethylmercaptan
When the sulfur is in the form of mercaptans higher than Ethylmercaptan including with other mercaptanes, disulfides or thiophenes, the Zinc Oxide is normally proceeded by a hydrogenation stage using a CoMo catalyst.

PARZICAT®/ MHT

Medium High Temperature Zinc Oxide Desulfurizer Adsorbent, is wildly used for purification of various industrial feed pas including hydrogen production, ammonia synthesis, alcohol production and synthesis of organic products. The content of H2S can be reduced to below 0.1 ppm through treatment of high temperature zinc oxide. At the same time, it can also convert and adsorb some simple organic sulfur compounds such as COS, CS2 and so on. PARZICAT®/MHT has the features of high sulfur adsorption, high activity and high crush strength, enduring high water steam ratio, even in the harsh condition, it can maintain very high activity and sulfur adsorption capacity.

PARZICAT® /ALT, Ambient Zinc Oxide Desulfurizer Adsorbent: The main composition of zinc oxide desulfurizer is active zinc oxide, adding special active components. It can be applied to remove the Sulphur compounds in all kinds of gas such as hydrogen, acetylene, petroleum gas, ammonia, carbon dioxide, synthetic and natural gas and so on, and in some light cut such as propylene, liquid hydrocarbon, reforming jet fuel and feedstock at lower temperature.

Medium High Temperature Zinc Oxid Desulfurizer Adsorbent, is wild used for purification of various industrial feed gas including hydrogen production, ammonia synthesis, alcohol production and synthesis of organic products. The content of H2S can be reduced to below 0.1 ppm through treatment of high temperature zinc oxide. PARZICAT®/F has the features of medium sulfur adsorption, medium activity and high crush strength, enduring high-water steam ratio, even in the harsh condition, it can maintain suitable activity and sulfur adsorption capacity.

PARZICAT® / PLUS

Bi Functional Zinc Oxide Desulfurizer Adsorbent, is wildly used for purification of various industrial feed gas including hydrogen production, ammonia synthesis, alcohol production and synthesis of organic products. The content of H2S can be reduced to below 0.1 ppm through treatment of high temperature zinc oxide. At the same time, it can also convert and adsorb some simple organic sulfur compounds such as COS, CS₂ and so on. This product has been developed by Pars Pigment & Catalyst and it is ideally suited for desulfurization the feeds includes light mercaptans (5-10 ppm) accompany with H₂S, and small amount of Hydrogen (ex. 100 ppm(v)).

PARZICAT® /AA

Medium High Temperature Zinc Oxide Desulfurizer Adsorbent, is used for purification of various industrial feed gas including hydrogen plant, ammonia plant alcohol production and synthesis of gas plant. The content of H2S in outlet can be reduced to 0.1 ppm.
